Men’s Golf Takes on the Goodwin

EVANSTON (March 25, 2026) – Northwestern men's golf returns to the course this week at the Goodwin, in Palo Alto, California. The 54-hole event kicks off on Thursday and runs through Saturday, with action beginning each day with 9:00 a.m. CT as the first tee time. 
 
Last season, Daniel Svärd claimed a share of medalist honors at the Goodwin as the Wildcats took third place as a team.
 
The Field
Northwestern settles into a 30-team field that includes host-school Stanford, Colorado, Oregon, Arkansas at Little Rock, Utah, Hawaii at Hilo, SDSU, University of the Pacific, BYU, SMU, Cincinnati, Cal, UCLA, Howard, New Mexico, San Jose State, Colorado State, Grand Canyon, Boise State, Santa Clara, Cal State Long Beach, California Polytechnic State, UC Davis, Washington State, TCU, Easter Michigan, Nevada, Georgia Institute of Technology and Washington. 
 
The Leaderboard
The Wildcats will compete this week at the par-70, 6,742-yard Stanford Golf Course. Live scoring will be available across all three days on Scoreboard.

Last Time Out
Rowan Sullivan posted a third-place finish at six-under-par, his highest as a Wildcat, as the 'Cats took fifth place at the Colleton River Collegiate.
 
Joining Sullivan in red figures were Daniel Svärd at one-under and Monty Holcombe at even-par.
