
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
In Illinois, over 1 million people are facing hunger with more then 300,0000 of them being children. The Sack Hunger Campaign is partnering with the Pork Power Program to help fight hunger across the state of Illinois. Throughout the season, 25lbs of ground pork will be donated for each sack Northwestern records. You can donate by going to the Illinois Pork Producers web page at www.ilpork.com/farmers-care/pork-power-donation-program, purchase a Pork Power Illinois T-Shirt for $21.76 and the donation goes straight to the Pork Power Program, helping combat food insecurity across Illinois.

The Pork Power program is currently in its 17th year. Since starting in 2008, Pork Power has provided more than 1 million pounds of donated pork, amounting to more than 4 million servings, being provided to hungry Illinois residents. Food banks across Illinois work with our association to accept donations and distribute to families throughout the state.
