Svärd, Sullivan Tabbed to PING All-Region Team

EVANSTON (May 30, 2026) – Daniel Svärd (Jarfalla, Sweden/Celsiusskolan Uppsala) and Rowan Sullivan (Charleston, S.C./Porter Gaud) have been named to the PING Midwest All-Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Saturday.
Svärd, now a four-time All-Region honoree, concluded his Northwestern career at the NCAA Athens Regional. The senior from Jarfalla, Sweden led the Wildcats with a stroke average of 70.74 in 35 rounds to go along with three top-3 finishes. The two-time Big Ten individual champion leaves Northwestern with a career stroke average of 71.14, second in the Wildcat record book only to Luke Donald.
Competing in his debut season in Evanston, Sullivan received All-Region honors for the first time in his career. The redshirt-sophomore placed second on the team behind Svärd with a stroke average of 71.57, and picked up five top-10 finishes on the campaign, including a share of third place at the Colleton River Collegiate in his native South Carolina.
Both Svärd and Sullivan received All-Conference honors at the season's end. Svärd was named to the All-Big Ten First Team for the third consecutive season, while Sullivan was tabbed for the Second Team in his first season in the conference.
