Northwestern Set to Take on Minnesota in Welsh-Ryan Arena

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern Wildcats return home to Welsh-Ryan Arena to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. on Big Ten Network and can be heard on ESPN 1000 AM radio.
NU returns home to Evanston after playing three of its last four games on the road. Last time out, Ryan Young tallied 17 points on eight field goals at No. 7 Maryland, the most he has made in a single game since making 11 against SIUE in December. He finished in double figures for the 11th time this season.
Sunday's matchup marks the second meeting between the two teams this season and 177th all-time. Minnesota enters the contest with a 6-9 record in Big Ten play.

About Boo Buie: The first year guard scored in double figures for the 10th time this season and fourth time in the last five games.
Young, the Giant: Ryan Young scored a team high 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field. Both were his highest marks against a league opponents.
Miller Time: Miller Kopp is one of 10 NU players in the last decade to have double-digit 15-plus point performances in a single season.
