EVANSTON, Ill. — Sullivan-Ubben Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Collins announced the addition of Jack Karasinski as a graduate transfer to Northwestern on Tuesday. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 21.7 points per game last season at Bellarmine and was named First Team All-ASUN last season.

"Jack Karasinski is a highly competitive, tough-minded forward coming off an All-Conference season at Bellarmine," said Collins. "He was one of the most efficient offensive players in the country last year and has proven he can score from all three levels. Not only is Jack a high-level shooter, but he also has a great knack for attacking the basket and getting to the foul line. His four years of college basketball experience will be invaluable to our team as we look toward next season. We can't wait to get Jack to Evanston to join our Northwestern basketball family."

Karasinski spent the past two seasons at Bellarmine. There, the forward averaged an ASUN-best 21.7 points per game (third in school history) on 56.1 % shooting and 4.7 rebounds per game in 2025-26. He knocked down 41.5% of his 3-point attempts. Karasinski's 69.3% true-shooting percentage made him the most efficient 20+ points per game scorer in the nation.

Against high-major competition, Karasinski averaged 20.5 points per game. The forward eclipsed 20 points on 19 occasions last season. Karasinski turned in three 30+ point performances in the final five games, setting a new career-high each time, ending the year with a 38-point performance in the final game to push the Knights over Austin Peay.

As a junior, Karasinski averaged 15.4 points per game on 53.4% shooting in 2024-25. He posted double digit points in 21 of his 24 appearances.

Prior to his time with Bellarmine, Karasinski began his career at William & Mary. He appeared in 37 games with the Tribe across two seasons.

A Grand Rapids, Mich., native, Karasinski attended Catholic Central High School, where he was one of five Mr. Basketball finalists in 2022. He was a First-Team All-State selection in his junior and senior seasons.
