
'Cats Come Up Short Against No. 2 Nebraska

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern volleyball could not keep up with Nebraska's offense on Sunday at home, falling to the Cornhuskers in straight sets (18-25, 15-25, 15-25).
The loss dropped Northwestern's record to 4-16 overall and 2-10 in Big Ten action.
Buse Hazan finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Wildcats offense, Alexa Rousseau chipped in 17 assists, and Drew Wright led the defense with 12 digs.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Wildcats fell behind early, dropping a tough first set 25-18. Northwestern trailed by as many as eight points as Nebraska led from the start and never surrendered their advantage.
SET 2 | Northwestern then lost set two 25-15 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. Northwestern trailed by as many as 10 points as Nebraska grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up three times before the Cornhuskers took over the lead.
SET 3 | Nebraska finished the sweep with a set-three win. The Wildcats fell in a tough set 25-15. Nebraska took the lead for good at 2-1 in a set that was knotted up just once before the Cornhuskers captured the advantage.
