'Cats Close Out Regular Season at Martin Stadium Friday

Evanston, Ill. - Northwestern faces Concordia-Chicago for the final regular season game of the 2018 season Friday, Oct. 26 at Martin Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be available on BTN Plus/BTN2Go.
The 'Cats will honor their seven seniors Robbie White, Camden Buescher, Jake Roberge, Emmett Gordon, Ben Miller, Braden Thuraisingham as well as graduate student John Moderwell before the game.
The team is coming off a 2-1 double-overtime loss against Wisconsin at home on Wednesday. After a scoreless first period, Jose Del Valle was able to put the ball in the net with an assist by Sean Lynch. This was Del Valle's first career goal.
The Badgers responded late in the second period, sending the game into double-overtime. The first extra period ended without a goal, but the Badgers scored early in the second overtime to give Wisconsin the victory.
Goalkeeper Miha Miskovic has been solid in net for the 'Cats, blocking 66 shots this season and leads the Big Ten in shoutouts (8) and saves. On offense, midfielder Camden Buescher leads the team with seven points this season, followed by Ty Seager with six.
Concordia-Chicago is heading into Evanston for their final game of the season and enter on a seven-game losing streak. The Cougars are 3-11 on the campaign. The team is led by rookie forward Ryan Kuhlman who has tallied 14 points and seven goals this season.
