EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 13 Northwestern will host three matches in Evanston this weekend as it faces No. 7 TCU on Friday followed by matches with Louisville and IUPUI on Sunday. The match against TCU will begin at 6 p.m. CT, while Sunday's contests are slated to start at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT, respectively.

Students in attendance at Friday's match will have the opportunity to win a free 50" TV. Free pizza will be available to all fans. Fans are invited to hit around on the courts between matches on Sunday. Select members of the team will interact with fans during the hit around session.

The Wildcats opened their season with a win over Vanderbilt last Sunday in Nashville. Chicago's Big Ten Team took the doubles point and three of the six singles matches on its way to a 4-3 victory, which was its third straight over the Commodores.

Senior Strong Kirchheimer, ranked No. 26 in the nation individually, won his match in straight sets over No. 97 Daniel Valent. Freshman Dominik Stary also dominated, winning 6-1, 6-3 in his first career dual appearance.

Friday will present an early test for the Wildcats in what will be the first match of the season for No. 7 TCU. The visitors boast two individuals ranked nationally, with junior Guillermo Nuñez at No. 55 and senior Jerry Lopez at No. 101.

Last year, NU traveled to Fort Worth, Texas to face then-No. 3 TCU, with the Horned Frogs narrowly prevailing in a close match that finished 4-3.

Both squads will be looking for a huge result early in the season after each racking up 26 wins in successful 2015-16 campaigns.

Sunday's early match will mark the second consecutive year that Northwestern faces Louisville in the season's opening week. In 2016, the Wildcats took down the Cardinals 4-0 on their home court.

Louisville will have two matches under its belt by Sunday, as it hosts Samford and Chicago State on Friday.

Sunday afternoon will be the season opener for IUPUI, coming off a season in which it finished 10-20 with a 4-1 record in the Summit League.
