Northwestern Advances at NCAA Championship Finals

CARLSBAD, Ca. (May 24, 2026) – The season continues for Northwestern women's golf, who will be advancing to the final round of the NCAA Championship Finals after of the first wave of cuts on Sunday.
 
The Wildcats finished the opening 54-holes at 12-over-par, placing in fifteenth to secure a tee time in Monday's final round for the third consecutive season.
 
Leading the charge for the 'Cats was senior Dianna Lee, who fired back-to-back rounds under par in rounds two and three to place in 25th at the first cut. Lee carded five birdies in her final round, making a clutch par on her final hole for a 1-under 71.
 
Following Lee was Ashley Yun, who entered the week off of a victory at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional. Yun opened the week with four birdies on her opening nine to fire a 3-under 69 in her first round, and is tied for 61st entering Monday's final round.
 
Megan Meng opened her week with an even-par 72, and is one shot behind Yun, while Lauren E. Lee matched Meng's opening score with a 72 in her second round. Rounding out the leaderboard was Hsin Tai Lin at 13-over.

T-61st – Ashley Yun +4 (69-74-77=220)
T-74th – Megan Meng +5 (72-76-73=221)
T-99th – Lauren E. Lee +7 (75-72-76=223)
