Yun, Wildcats Headed to Fourth Consecutive NCAA Championship Finals

ANN ARBOR, Mi. (May 13, 2026) – One year after finishing runner-up at the NCAA Norman Regional, junior Ashley Yun secured the win at the 2026 NCAA Ann Arbor Regional as the Wildcats advance to the NCAA Championship Finals for the fourth consecutive year.
The top five teams in the Ann Arbor Regional (USC, Ohio State, Duke, Northwestern and Texas Tech) will be advancing to the next stage of the NCAA Championships, competing in the Finals, May 22-27, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
Competing in their 16th consecutive NCAA Championships, Northwestern concluded the week with a combined score of 869, highlighted by a 5-under round of 279 on Monday.
Yun opened her week with a bogey-free 5-under 66 on Monday to take an individual lead she would never relinquish. The junior from West Covina, Calif. finished the event at 5-under for her second career victory.
Placing a stroke behind Yun was Dianna Lee, who will be advancing to the NCAA Championship Finals for all four years of her collegiate career. Lee opened with rounds of 70 and 71, before carding a bogey-free 3-under 68 to finish at 4-under par.
Megan Meng fired her low-round of the week with a 72 on Tuesday to place in 26th, while Lauren E. Lee opened the week with a career-low 2-under 69 in her opening round. Hsin Tai Lin rounded out the group with a 55th place finish.
