Svärd, Wildcats Take Fifth Place at the Clerico

TULSA, Ok. (October 28, 2025) – Led by another top-five finish by senior Daniel Svärd, Northwestern men's golf claimed fifth place at the Clerico in Tulsa, Oklahoma to conclude the fall season.
Battling tough conditions and an even tougher field, the Wildcats fired a score of 874 (291-284-299) as a team. Auburn claimed both titles, winning the team event with a score of 848 (280-277-291) while Josiah Gilbert took medalist honors at three-under-par.
Svärd took fifth place to secure his third top-5 finish of the campaign. The senior carded a two-under-par 68 in his second round and finished with a score of 213 (72-68-73). Joining Svärd in the top-10 was Rowan Sullivan, who continued his strong start to the season with a score of 215 (71-71-73) to place in 10th.
Jeremy Chen fired an even-par 70 in his second round to place in 31st with a 223 (73-70-80) while Monty Holcombe finished in 45th. Ethan Tseng rounded out the lineup in 58th while first-year Isaac Lee placed in 56thas an individual.
