Dianna Lee Wins East Lake Cup

ATLANTA, Ga. (October 27, 2025) – Battling through difficult conditions, Northwestern senior Dianna Lee captured her second career victory in a rain-shortened sprint at the East Lake Cup. The Wildcats placed in third as a team, setting the stage for match play on Tuesday.
With rain shortening the round to nine holes, the 'Cats fired a team round of 154, one shot ahead of Florida State for the third seed in match play.
Lee finished as one of two players to card a score under par, besting Oregon's Kiara Romero, the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world, to take the individual title at two-under-par. Lee recorded three birdies on the round, including a lengthy birdie putt on hole 17 to take the lead, to finish with a score of 34 on the back nine.
Trailing Lee was first-year Arianna Lau who placed in a share of 12th with a score of 38. Hsin Tai Lin and Megan Meng finished tied for 16th with a 41 while Ashley Yun rounded out the lineup one shot behind with a 42.
