EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern men's tennis will host No. 24 Harvard this Friday at Combe Tennis Center before traveling south to take on No. 7 Duke on the road Sunday. Friday's match in Evanston is set to start at 6 p.m. CT, while Sunday's meeting in Durham is scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT first serve.

Harvard came in at No. 24 in the latest ITA team rankings after amassing a 3-2 record over the first two weekends of dual season. Most recently, the Crimson fell in the finals of the ITA kickoff to No. 13 Texas A&M last Sunday, then defeated Bryant 4-1 later in the evening. Two ranked doubles duos lead Harvard: first-year Benjamin Privara and junior Masato Perera at No. 71, and first-year Mitchell Lee and junior Valdemar Pape at No. 98.

Duke rose to No. 7 in the ITA's rankings after qualifying for the ITA Indoor Championships with a 4-0 victory over Vanderbilt on Sunday. They enter the weekend with a perfect 4-0 record in dual season with wins over Old Dominion, NC Central and Harvard. The Blue Devils boast the No. 37, No. 38 and No. 47 singles players in the country as well as the No. 12, No. 33, No. 49 and No. 62 doubles duos.

The Wildcats are coming off a 2-1 opening weekend that featured home victories over UIC and Saint Joseph's at Combe. Sophomore Greyson Casey picked up two wins at the No. 1 singles position in his first career match at a position higher than No. 5. First-years Carter Pate and Vincent Yang collected their first collegiate doubles wins during the weekend as well, and Yang also came away with his first singles win in the match-up with Saint Joseph's.

Following Sunday's action, the 'Cats will continue their non-conference road slate the following weekend at Vanderbilt and Clemson. Northwestern will play in Nashville at 3 p.m. CT on Friday, February 7, before heading to Clemson for a 10 a.m. CT match on Sunday, February 9.
