MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Northwestern Women's Basketball looks to bounce back on the road against Minnesota on Saturday at Williams Arena. Tip-off for the game is set for 2 p.m. CT on B1G+.

On Wednesday, the 'Cats fell to Purdue at home, 48-74. Melannie Daley continued her strong scoring season with a team-leading 12 points. The team as a whole tied a season high with 11 steals in the game with Caroline Lau collecting a career-high four steals.

Minnesota enters Saturday's matchup on a six game losing streak, including an 81-73 loss at Rutgers during their last game. The 'Cats won the lone matchup between these two teams last year, a 76-62 victory at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Caroline Lau also added three assists during Wednesday's matchup. She is now averaging 5.5 assists per game, good for 22nd in the nation. Daley's strong scoring has been aided by a 48.5 field goal percentage, eighth best in the Big Ten and third among conference guards. Additionally, Maggie Pina converted another three-pointer in Wednesday's game. Her three point percentage of 44.9 percent leads the team and would rank ninth in the country if she qualified for NCAA leaderboards.

After facing off with Minnesota, Northwestern will head to Lincoln for a matchup with the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Tuesday. Tip-off from Pinnacle Bank Arena is set for 8 p.m. CT and can be viewed on B1G+.
