Mayer's Late Equalizer Propels NU to 1-1 Draw at DePaul

CHICAGO – Northwestern and DePaul played to a 1-1 draw Monday on the road at Wish Field at Cacciatore Stadium.
Northwestern moved to 3-0-1 overall after the draw, its first unbeaten start through four games since 2014. The Wildcats are 3-0-1 for the first time since 2007.
How it Happened
Northwestern held a 5-4 first half advantage in shots, including a 3-2 advantage in shots on target, but was unable to break through in the first half.
DePaul opened the scoring when Colin Mackey scored in the 50th minute, assisted by Keagan Pace.
The Wildcats earned a late corner kick in the 84th minute. Collin McCamy delivered a ball into the box that found Bryant Mayer, who headed it home to even the score at one apiece.
