Northwestern Puts 3-0 Record on the Line at DePaul

EVANSTON, Ill. – Following a thrilling come-from-behind 2-1 win at Milwaukee, Northwestern will travel to DePaul for a Monday morning matchup with the Blue Demons. Kickoff from Wish Field is set for 11:30 a.m. CT on FloFC.
Last time out, the Wildcats downed Milwaukee 2-1 on the road. After the Panthers grabbed a 1-0 lead off an early corner kick in the 10th minute, Justin Weiss responded quickly, equalizing in the 18th minute. The score remained deadlocked through the remainder of the first half and into the second, until the 67th minute when Collin McCamy fired a free kick past the Panther keeper for the game-winner. Notre Dame transfer Reese Mayer made his Northwestern debut in the contest, logging 60 minutes in his first game in purple and white.
The Wildcats are 3-0 for the first time since 2008. Northwestern opened the 2008 season 3-0 with wins over San Francisco, IUPUI and Iona en route to an NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal appearance. NU is looking to move to 4-0 for the first time since at least 1993.

The Blue Demons enter Monday's contest with a 1-2 record, most recently falling 1-0 to Bradley on Friday. The Blue Demons started the season off with a 1-0 win over Lindenwood before suffering a 2-0 defeat at No. 10 Indiana.
