Weekly Press Conference
EVANSTON, Ill. — The Northwestern football program will conclude the regular season when it hosts in-state rival Illinois on Senior Day at Ryan Field.
The Wildcats (5-6, 4-4 Big Ten) and Fighting Illinois (3-8, 2-6 Big Ten) will play for the Land of Lincoln Trophy on the Big Ten Network and BTN2Go with a 11 a.m. kickoff. Cory Provus, Glen Mason and Allison Hayes will be on the call for BTN. As always, the game will also be broadcast on WGN 720 with the voice of the Wildcats Dave Eanet, his partner Ted Albrecth and Adam Hoge on the sideline.

QUICK REVIEW
Illinois is in its first season under the guidance of former Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith. The Fighting Illini enter the weekend with a 3-8 record overall and 2-6 mark in Big Ten play. They were shutout at home last week by Iowa, 28-0.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Senior linebacker Hardy Nickerson leads the Fighting Illini with 103 tackles. He has recorded seven double-digit tackle performances this season, including a 14-tackle game at Michigan that included his second sack of the season.
LAST TIME THEY MET
Northwestern reclaimed the 'Land of Lincoln' trophy with a convincing victory at Soldier Field last season, 24-14. Justin Jackson ran for 172 yards and a score, Clayton Thorson threw a touchdown to Dan Vitale and Anthony Walker, Jr., had 14 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, and a sack to earn Big Ten Player of the Week honors. The victory gave the Wildcats 10 wins for the 2015 season and catapulted them to a New Year's Day appearance in the Outback Bowl.
