Michigan State Notes
• Under Mark Dantonio, Michigan State has produced a 52-14 record (.788) in home games since 2007, including a 15-game winning streak (7-0 in 2010, 7-0 in 2011, won first game in 2012) and a 12-game winning streak (7-0 in 2013; won first five in 2014), which rank second and tied for third, respectively, in Spartan Stadium history. MSU is 37-8 (.822) at home since 2010 and 21-3 (.875) since 2013.
• Senior Josiah Price had two catches for 29 yards in the BYU game, surpassing the 1,000-yard milestone for receiving yards on his second catch to become just the fourth Spartan tight end to record 1,000 career receiving yards (Chris Baker: 1,705; Mark Brammer: 1,305; Billy Joe DuPree: 1,222). Price now has 80 career catches for 1,001 yards. He already ranks first among Spartan tight ends in school history with 18 touchdown receptions. Price was named to the Mackey Award Midseason Watch List on Oct. 12, which is presented annually to the nation's most outstanding tight end.
• Saturday's game marks the 55th meeting between Michigan State and Northwestern and the first since 2013, when the Spartans topped the Wildcats in Evanston to clinch the Big Ten Legends Division title en route to winning the Big Ten Championship and Rose Bowl Game. The Spartans lead the all-time series 37-17, including an 18-7 record in games played in East Lansing.
