Taryn joined Northwestern in 2024. She is responsible for managing the health care of the swim and dive programs. She is also the program coordinator for Northwestern Physical Therapy's Division I Sports Fellowship.
Taryn is a graduate of The University of Miami, where she earned her Bachelor's in Athletic Training. She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northwestern University. After her graduate training, she completed a residency in Sports Physical Therapy at Mayo Clinic and then a Fellowship in Divisoin I Sports Physical Therapy at Northwestern University.
Her professional interests include post operative rehabilitation, return to sport testing, upper extremity rehabilitation and injury risk reduction programming. Taryn is a board certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy and holds certifications in dry needling.
Taryn is originally from Saint Charles, IL and resides in Chicago. She enjoys reading, cycling, skiing, and spending time with her family.
