Meli Resendiz is in her 29th year at Northwestern and currently serves as associate director of equipment operations, working closely with volleyball, softball and women’s golf.

Prior to joining Northwestern, Resendiz worked at the Evanston/Northshore YWCA as director of Health Services. An Evanston native, Resendiz attended Dewey Elementary School, Evanston Township High School and is a Northwestern University graduate.

Currently, Resendiz serves on the education committee for the Athletic Equipment Manager's Association (AEMA). She has twice been named district V equipment manager of the year (2006 and 2007) and was distinguished as the National Equipment Manager of the year in 2007.
