With this newly created position as Associate A.D. for Sport Administration, Wagner will work with individual sport administrators to maintain consistency between programs and serve as the initial point of contact for all matters related to the respective administrators across all programs. She will be committed to improving the student-athlete experience by fostering high standards of integrity, athletic excellence, and academic success.
Wagner takes over this role having spent the last 13 years in Northwestern's compliance department, managing the day-to-day operations of the athletic compliance office that services all 19 Northwestern varsity sports programs. Wagner began at Northwestern in 2011, serving roles as the Director and Assistant Director of Compliance before being elevated to Assistant A.D. for Compliance in May of 2015, joining the department's senior leadership cabinet.

In her duties with the Scarlet Knights, she worked with all 24 sports programs and oversaw all day-to-day compliance aspects for Bylaws 11, 13, 16 and 17.
Wagner started her athletics administration career at DePaul University in October of 2000, during which she held various roles within the department. As the Assistant Director of Compliance/Event Coordinator, she provided assistance for the day-to-day athletics compliance operations for all of the 15 varsity sport programs as well as being the liaison with various University departments including admissions, financial aid and housing. Wagner coordinated all athletics special events for the Blue Demons and served as an NCAA Championship site representative for both women's basketball and women's lacrosse.
