Bridget Kunkel joined the Wildcats staff in September 2024 as a Performance Dietitian, Clinical. Kunkel arrives from Wake Forest University where she was the Olympic Sports Nutrition Fellow. Prior to that, she served as a Graduate Intern at Loyola University Chicago Athletics. 
 
A native of Lemont, Illinois, Kunkel earned her master's degree from Loyola University Chicago. Kunkel completed her bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University, where she also competed as a Division I collegiate cross country/track and field athlete.
