Under their direction, Northwestern has qualified for 14 consecutive NCAA Regionals (2010-24), appeared in nine NCAA Championships (2013-19, '23, '24), and won three Big Ten Conference crowns (2016, '15, '13). Between 2015-18, she helped guide Northwestern to four consecutive Top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships, one of only three teams in the nation to accomplish the feat. The 'Cats have placed inside the top-15 at the National Championships in eight of their nine appearances since Fletcher and Miller joined the program.
During her time with the program, Miller's Wildcats have earned:
17 All-America honors (WGCA/Golfweek)
50 All-Big Ten awards
Seven Big Ten Freshman of the Year awards
Four Big Ten Player of the Year awards
Two Mary Fossum Award
43 WGCA All-American Scholar nods
99 Academic All-Big Ten honors
With Fletcher and Miller at the helm, the pairing has produced the Top-16 career scoring averages in the Wildcats record book, as well as the Top-25 single-season scoring marks in program history. Miller was recognized as the 2015 Golf Pride Grips Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Assistant Coach of the Year. Miller was named the Assistant Coach of the Year once again in 2025, marking the first time in the award's history that both the National Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year were from the same program.
Miller joined the Wildcats in 2008 after spending a year as the lead coach at the Green to Tee Golf Academy in Glencoe, Ill. There she coached over 90 golfers and helped to coordinate a number of tournaments and projects as well as assisting in the growth of the Academy. Previously, she spent time as a professional golfer, competing in the 2005 U.S. Women's Open at Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver, Colo.
A native of Dixon, Ill., Miller is a 2004 graduate of Purdue University where she earned her degree in consumer and family science. She competed in four NCAA Championships for the Boilermakers and was named team captain as a senior. Miller spent four semesters on the coaches' honor roll and received the Durham Brothers Leadership Award given for excellent work ethic as well as a positive attitude. She earned All-American status at Newman Central Catholic High School and is the younger sister of Christie Hermes, who competed for Northwestern from 1997-2001.
