Austin Siegel joined the Athletic Development team as Assistant Director of Operations in August of 2024.
A 2018 graduate of Northwestern, Siegel returned to Evanston in 2021 after a stint at Kansas State, where he covered the Wildcats as the athletic department’s team reporter and wrote daily stories on the K-State Athletics website.
In his time at Northwestern, Siegel has worked with the Athletic Communications team as a graduate assistant and Student Affairs Marketing as a Communications Specialist. Siegel has also assisted TrueNU, Northwestern’s NIL collective, with content and marketing since 2024, including developing and writing TrueNU’s monthly newsletter.
Siegel holds two degrees from Northwestern, a bachelor’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism and a master’s degree in Sports Administration.
