Alicia Torimoto McLeod was promoted to Director of Development at Northwestern University in May 2024. In this role, she oversees athletics development operations, events, and premium seating for Northwestern Athletics donors, including managing all athletics donor events, communication, recognition, and premium experience opportunities.
Alicia joined Northwestern in August 2016 as the program assistant for the Wildcat Fund. Over the years, she has been promoted to numerous roles with the athletics development team. Prior to Northwestern, she served as the administrative assistant for North Central College Athletics and Health/Physical Education Departments, providing support for all 25 varsity sports.
She holds a Master of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington, where she was an advancement graduate assistant with the Tyee Club. Alicia earned dual bachelor’s degrees in marketing and sports management from North Central College (IL), where she was an administrative intern for the Athletics Department, and a student-athlete in volleyball and track & field.
She is an active member of National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and Women Leaders in Sports. In 2023, she completed the Women Leaders in Sport Institute for Advancement.
