‘Cats to play nine home contests as part of league slate
ROSEMONT, Ill. (June 8, 2026) – The Big Ten Conference unveiled its home and away opponents for the upcoming 2026-27 season on Monday. Northwestern and its 17 league foes will play an 18-game conference slate, featuring nine contests at home and nine on the road.
Led by first-year head coach Carla Berube, Northwestern will host Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Penn State, Oregon, and Washington at Welsh-Ryan Arena. In addition to a road tilt with the Fighting Illini, the 'Cats are slated to visit Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin.
Northwestern's complete Big Ten Conference schedule will be released at a later date. For the first time in 2027, the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament will head west to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., March 3-7.
