NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Five members of the Northwestern lacrosse roster received All-Region honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, the IWLCA announced on Thursday afternoon.
Senior attacker Madison Taylor, graduate student goalkeeper Jenika Cuocco and junior midfielder Noel Cumberland were named to First Team All-West/Midwest, while Annabel Child and Aditi Foster received second team all-region honors.
The Wildcats have placed at least five players on the IWLCA's All-West/Midwest Region teams in each of the past four seasons.
Taylor, a three-time Tewaaraton Award finalist, leads the Big Ten in goals (92) and points (124), ranking second nationally in goals and third nationally in points. Taylor has added 19 ground balls, 17 caused turnovers and 54 draw controls throughout her 2026 campaign.
A Wantagh, N.Y. native, Taylor helped power the 'Cats to four consecutive Big Ten regular season and tournament title sweeps. She is the first player in NCAA history to record career marks of 450+ points and 200+ draw controls, and leads all active players in career goals (337) and points (468). Taylor sits second in career points in program history, just 15 points behind Izzy Scane's program record (483) set in 2024.
Cuocco, the 2026 Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Player, set the program single-season saves record in Northwestern's double-overtime NCAA Quarterfinal win over Colorado (174). She boasts a 50.9% save percentage in 2026.
Cumberland has emerged as a dynamic contributor with two-way impact. A force in the transition game, she has recorded 21 goals, seven assists, 12 ground balls, two caused turnovers and 10 draw controls in 2026. She scored the golden goal against the Buffaloes to send the 'Cats to their seventh consecutive NCAA Semifinals.
Child, who netted a hat trick in NU's Big Ten Championship win over Maryland, has posted 12 goals, three assists, 35 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and five draw controls this season.
Foster has scored 48 goals and dished out 14 assists in 2026. She has recorded 12 consecutive multi-point games.
The Wildcats will face No. 4 seed Johns Hopkins in the NCAA semifinals on Friday, May 22, at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium.
