Men's Swim & Dive Ready to Compete at Big Ten Championships in Minneapolis

EVANSTON, Ill. - The 'Cats will travel to Minneapolis, Minn. for the 2025 Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center starting Wednesday, February 26 - Saturday, March 1. The event will begin on Feb. 26 at 5:00 p.m. CT with relays and a diving team expedition event. The next three days will consist of preliminary events at 10:00 a.m. CT and finals at 5:30 p.m CT. More information regarding the schedule can be found here and below.

In the 2024 Big Ten Championships in Columbus, Ohio, the team concluded the event in sixth place overall with a total of 725 points. Two student-athletes, Andrew Martin, a graduate student known for his remarkable endurance in distance events, and Diego Nosack, both excelled at B1Gs, advancing to the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis.
The men's swim team finished the regular season with an impressive 8-1 record, including conference wins over Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin.
Members of the team that are scheduled to participate include: Ryan Augustine, Graysen Bernard, Adam Cohen, Malachi Cohen, Cade Duncan, David Gerchik, Oliver Kós, Christopher Leung, Tyler Lu, Kyle Ly, Nosack, Tristan Prizler, Nolan Rooker, Alexander Rousseau, Connor Schuster, Stuart Seymour, Gal Shlegel, Joshua Staples, David Vinokur, Jack White and Tonahuc Zinn.
