Wildcats to Kick Off Spring Campaign at The Prestige at PGA West

EVANSTON, Ill. (Feb. 15, 2025) – Northwestern Men's Golf is back to begin their spring campaign at The Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, California. The event, which is celebrating its 25th year, will run from Monday (Feb. 17) through Wednesday (Feb. 19).
 
The Wildcats begin three days of golf on Monday with a 9:40 a.m. CT tee time. Rounds two and three are scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. CT.
 
The Field
The 'Cats join a 24-team field that includes host-school UC Davis, Baylor, Colorado, Colorado State, FAU, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Little Rock, LMU, Louisville, Nevada, #6 UNC, Oregon, Oregon State, #15 Pepperdine, Princeton, San Diego, Stanford, #23 Texas Tech, UNC Wilmington, Washington State, and Yale.

Last Time Out
The 'Cats head to California after winning their last two tournaments to close out the fall season. After taking victory in match play at the St. Andrews Links Collegiate in Scotland, the 'Cats returned stateside at The Clerico and continued their winning ways.
 
The Wildcats fired a combined score one-under-par 279 in their final round, giving them a three-day total of 852 (284-289-279) to win the event by eight strokes. Cameron Adam played the week at three-under-par, guiding him to his first collegiate victory with a 207 (67-70-70).
 
Joining Adam in the Top-10 on the leaderboard were Daniel Svärd and Niall Sheils-Donegan, with the former tying his career-low score of 65 in his final round to propel him to a third-place finish with a 211 (71-75-65). Shiels-Donegan fired a round of even-par 70 in his second round that would guide him to a share of ninth place with a 214 (72-70-72).
