EVANSTON, Ill. – After sweeping its season openers, Northwestern swimming and diving travels to Notre Dame and Michigan this weekend.

The road swing will start in South Bend, Ind., on Friday, Oct. 24, at 5 p.m. CT against the Fighting Irish. The next day, the Wildcats take on the Wolverines in Ann Arbor, Mich., while the women's team also faces UCLA. The conference clashes begin at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The Fighting Irish earned recognition on both the men's and women's sides in the October College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division I Top 25 Dual Meet Poll. The men's team is ranked No. 25, while the women received six votes. The Fighting Irish fell to Michigan (women: 218-82, men: 183-117) and ranked Wisconsin (women: 194.5-105.5, men: 155-143) in a tri-dual meet hosted earlier this season.

The Wolverines boast top-10 rankings for both their men's and women's squads. In the same South Bend tri-dual meet, the Wolverines also defeated Wisconsin (women: 155-145, men: 183-115). Bella Sims and Tyler Ray were named Michigan's Big Ten Swimmers to Watch, and Kiarra Milligan and Emmitt Reesor were Michigan's representatives on the Big Ten Divers to Watch List.

Saturday's meet will be a tri-dual for the Wildcat women, also squaring off with No. 23 UCLA. The Bruins opened their season at the USC Invitational, falling to No. 9 USC (245-107) and No. 12 Indiana (235-112), and defeating No. 25 Texas A&M (195-151). Jada Duncan and Eden Chang represented the Bruins on the Big Ten Swimmers and Divers to Watch List.
