Wildcats Visit Kansas State and Kansas

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern women's tennis will hit the road this weekend as they take on Kansas State on Saturday followed by Kansas on Sunday.
The Kansas State match will take place on Saturday, March 5th at 12 p.m. CT at Body First Indoor Tennis Center in Manhattan, Kan. On Sunday, March 6th, the Cats' head east to Lawrence to take on Kansas at 12 p.m. CT.

The Cats' improved to 4-3 after defeating Harvard (7-0) and Miami of Ohio (7-0) this past weekend. After their impressive performances, Northwestern is now ranked no. 27 nationally.
Clarissa Hand, previously ranked no. 85th in the country, took down Harvard's Maxi Duncan, 7-6(5), 6-2, a first year who was ranked No. 4 nationally in her class before coming to Harvard. Cl. Hand is now ranked No. 70 nationally.
Kansas State is 4-2 in the season after falling to Arizona State 2-4. Kansas State's team features seniors Karine-Marion Job and Rosanna Maffei who are ranked no. 96 and no. 108.
Kansas University is 5-3 in the season after a 4-2 win against Old Dominion.
Northwestern last saw Kansas State during the 2017-18 season when the Cats' defeated Kansas State in a 4-0 decision.
