Northwestern Visits Duke for Sunday Dual

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern will travel to Durham, N.C. this weekend to face No. 19 Duke on Sunday morning. The match is set for 11 a.m. CT.
The Wildcats are coming off two matches at ITA Kickoff weekend in Oklahoma. NU fell to the No. 18 Sooners before recording a dominant, 4-1 win over Georgia Tech.
The pair of Chris Ephron and Michael Lorenzini impressed at No. 3 doubles in both matches, winning 6-3 at Oklahoma before cruising to a 6-1 mark against Georgia Tech.
First year Nick Brookes also continued his hot start to the season, winning twice at No. 3 singles. He took down Adrian Oetzbach on Saturday, following it up with a win over Chris Yun on Sunday. The rookie won in straight sets in both contests.
Duke enters the weekend on the back of three straight victories to begin the year, most recently defeating Louisville and San Diego on ITA Kickoff weekend. The Blue Devils will host Illinois on Friday night before the 'Cats visit on Sunday.
The two teams last met in February of 2017 when Duke came to Evanston for a dual match. Northwestern took the victory by a score of 4-2 en route to a 10-0 start to the campaign.
Sunday's match will be the fourth of five consecutive tilts away from home for Chicago's Big Ten Team.
