'Cats Clash with DePaul Tuesday at Martin Stadium

EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern men's soccer wraps up its season-long, four-match homestand on Tuesday, Oct. 9, when it welcomes DePaul to Martin Stadium for a 7 p.m. CT contest.

Northwestern (4-5-3) have won four consecutive games against Chicago opponents dating back to the 2016 campaign. The Wildcats topped DePaul in 2017, 2-0, with goals from Camden Buescher and Mac Mzzola. Francisco Tomasino earned the clean sheet for the 'Cats.
DePaul comes into the Tuesday tilt with a 4-6-1 overall mark in 2018. The Blue Demons played Seton Hall to a 1-1 draw last time out on Oct. 6. Istvan Wilhelms leads the club with three goals and six points. Drew Nuelle has started and played all 11 games in net this season and owns a 1.03 goals against average with 45 saves. He has two shutouts this season.
Miha Miskovic continues to have a breakout season. The sophomore keeper picked up his seventh shutout of the season in Northwestern's 0-0 draw against Penn State on Saturday. Miskovic ranks first in the Big Ten and fourth nationally in shutouts. Northwestern's .583 shutout percentage ranks 10th among all college soccer programs and first among league opponents.
A total of 12 Northwestern players have tallied points on the year with Camden Buescher leading the way with seven on three goals and an assist. First year Bardia Kimiavi ranks second on the team with a pair of goals.
