Wisconsin Notes
QUICK REVIEW
Wisconsin enters this week's contest 6-2 overall and 3-2 in Big Ten play, highlighted by wins over LSU in the season opener and Nebraska last week in overtime, 23-17. Wisconsin is one of just three teams with a pair of wins over the current top 15 of the Associated Press poll.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
With Corey Clement rushing for 164 yards vs. Ohio State and 134 yards at Iowa, and Dare Ogunbowale logging 120 yards vs. Nebraska, the Badgers are riding a streak of three straight games with a 100-yard rusher
for the first time since Melvin Gordon ran for 100-plus in 10 straight games from Sept. 20 to Nov. 29, 2014.
LAST TIME THEY MET
Northwestern held Wisconsin to a school-record negative-26 rushing yards and the Wildcats' defense made a goalline stand late in the fourth quarter to preserve a 13-7 win at Camp Randall Stadium. Justin Jackson rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown in the win and Deonte Gibson recorded a career-high three sacks to earn Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors.
