Women's Volleyball Falls in Four to Indiana

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's volleyball team fell to Indiana Saturday night, 15-8, 5-15, 5-15, 7-15. The ?Cats are now 0-2 in Big Ten play and 2-10 overall.
Leading the way for the Wildcats was Jennifer Zagorski (Batavia, Ill.). Zagorski had 11 kills and 18 digs, her effort was not enough to get the victory. Sarah Ballog (Coto De Caza, Calif.) contributed 10 kills to the Wildcat attack.
The ?Cats opened the match strong posting a 15-8 game score. Indiana rallied in the second to even the score. The Hoosiers took control early in game three and never looked back. Indiana, led by Ryann Connors and Hillary Toivonen, took game four to end the match and record their first win in Big Ten play. Connors tallied 11 kills and 12 digs, while Toivonen totaled 16 kills and 18 digs.
Northwestern hits the road this weekend, meeting Iowa Friday night at 7 p.m.
