Rebekah Sigman serves as the Assistant Director of Community Relations for Northwestern Athletics, starting in January 2023. In this role, Sigman serves as a point of contact for community members, planning Northwestern Athletics events such as the movie night at Ryan Field and the Randy Walker 5k, in addition to supporting community groups and strengthening their relationship with Northwestern Athletics. She has been at Northwestern University since September 2016 in the Department of Communication Studies, most recently as their Undergraduate Program Administrator. While at Northwestern, Sigman has been involved with the Association of Northwestern University Women, serving as president for the 2022-23 academic year. In the six years since moving to Evanston, she has worked and volunteered at various theater, arts, and entertainment organizations.

Sigman graduated from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater. In 2021, she completed her Masters in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University, with the ultimate goal of working as a community relations professional for an organization she is passionate about – like Northwestern Athletics.

Sigman moved to Evanston from Bastian, Va., along with her partner David, in 2016. Together, they love being a part of the Evanston community, attending Northwestern athletic events, concerts, and plays, and playing through their massive board game collection.
