WHY NORTHWESTERN?
I chose Northwestern because I loved the campus and the mix of a big ten school with high level academics. I also really liked the coaches and girls on the team that I talked to before coming here. When I got here the energy of the team and coaches were even better than I imagined!
GET TO KNOW ABBIE OFF THE COURSE:
What are you studying? I am studying Environmental Science and pursuing the policy track within the major. I also plan on minoring in Economics.
What do you love about Northwestern Cross Country? I love how driven every person is on the team, I am constantly inspired by people’s determination. The team feels like family, and I know that I could go to any person on the team for advice or if I needed anything.
Favorite memory of Northwestern Cross Country? Doing a long run into the city for brunch.
What do you love about running? I love the people who run, and I enjoy learning to push myself more. It also always clears my mind when I am stressed.
What hobbies do you enjoy? My current hobbies are going for walks with my friends and family and finding good restaurants!
