  • Accepts a promise of pay even if such pay is to be received following completion of his or her intercollegiate athletics participation;
  • Signs a contract or commitment of any kind to play professional athletics, regardless of its legal enforceability or any consideration received;
  • Receives, directly or indirectly, a salary, reimbursement of expenses or any other form of financial assistance from a professional sports organization based on athletics skill or participation;
  • Competes on any professional athletics team as defined by NCAA bylaw 12.02.8;
  • After initial full-time enrollment, enters into a professional draft; or
  • Enters into an agreement with an agent.

Agents - You are not eligible in a sport if you have ever accepted money, transportation or other benefits from an agent or agreed to have an agent market your athletics ability or reputation in that sport. You may NOT sign a contact with an agent or agree verbally to be represented by an agent until after your eligibility has expired.
