Katrina Adams (Tennis, 1984-87)

Katrina Adams captured the NCAA doubles championship with Diane Donnelly in 1987. The duo didn't lose a set at the NCAAs, finishing the season with a 24-match win streak, a 36-2 record and a two-year mark of 72-5. Adams was a two-time first-team All-American and All-Big Ten pick in both singles and doubles. She compiled a 23-3 mark at No. 2 singles her senior year. Adams also was the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Freshman of the Year in 1986.

Adams and Donnelly hold the NU doubles records for wins in a season (26 in '86), consecutive matches won (21 in '87), consecutive sets won (28 in '87), best winning percentage (1.000, 21-0 in '87) and fewest sets lost (2 in '87). Adams, a retired WTA professional, won 20 doubles titles and more than $1 million in prize money.
