2021-22: Earned a bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, placing third in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 1:54.45 (7/27/21) ... Became the first Wildcat to medal at an Olympic Games since Matt Grevers in 2012 and the first athlete to medal while enrolled at Northwestern since Nancy Simons in 1956 ... Placed second in the 100 fly with an NCAA 'B' cut time of 47.39 versus Indiana (10/16) ... Won the 50 free against UIC (10/23) ... Notched NCAA 'B' cut times in the 50 free (19.78), 100 fly (46.04) and 200 fly (1:42.07) with silver medals in the fly events (11/20).

2020-21: Stayed in Italy for the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19 protocols and Olympic training.

2019-20: The free and fly specialist took home four-consecutive Big Ten Freshman of the Week awards (1/15/20-2/5/20) upon his arrival in Evanston while adding two Big Ten Swimmer of the Week awards (1/22/20 & 1/29/20) ... Took fourth place in the 200 fly and 10th place in the 100 fly at the Big Ten Championships ... Set school records in the 200 free (1:34.15, vs. Cincinnati 1/24) and the 200 fly (1:41.92, Big Ten Championships 2/29) ... Placed first in 18 individual races during his first year.
