ROSEMONT, Ill. — After guiding Northwestern to a sweep of the Big Ten's regular season and tournament titles for the fourth consecutive year, Combe Family Head Lacrosse Coach Kelly Amonte Hiller and senior attacker Madison Taylor each garnered annual Big Ten individual honors, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Amonte Hiller captured her fourth consecutive conference Coach of the Year award, while Taylor took home Attacker of the Year honors for the second-straight season. This marks Amonte Hiller's sixth coach of the year award in the past seven seasons. Taylor joins Izzy Scane as the only multi-time attacker of the year recipients in Big Ten history.

The Wildcats won seven consecutive conference games to close the regular season following a setback against Ohio State in the team's Big Ten opener. During this span, Northwestern became the first team since Florida in 2012 to knock off multiple No. 1 ranked squads in the IWLCA poll in a single season.

Amonte Hiller has led NU to the No. 1 spot in the NCAA RPI rankings, with the 'Cats picking up wins over the No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 teams in the RPI. NU boasts nine RPI top-20 wins this season, the most of any team in the country.

Ever the road warriors, the 'Cats have gone 8-0 in road games this season, extending their national-best road winning streak to 18 consecutive games.

Taylor, who shattered the NCAA single season scoring record with 109 goals in 2025, has retained her elite form in 2026. She leads the conference in goals (80) and points (111) and has added 16 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers and 46 draw controls. Taylor is the first player in NCAA history to record 450+ points and 200+ draw controls.

The Wantagh, N.Y., native went 34-2 in Big Ten regular season and tournament games in her illustrious career. She leads all active players in career goals (325) and points (455) and is 28 points behind Scane's program record of 483.

One of the nation's most consistent performers, Taylor has tallied at least a point in 64 consecutive games. She has started all 83 games NU has played since she arrived on campus as a first-year ahead of the 2023 season.

The Wildcats secured the Big Ten's automatic bid with their 8-7 overtime win in the Big Ten Championship over Maryland on April 26. They will learn their NCAA Tournament seeding during the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Selection Show, which is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, at 8 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
