EVANSTON, Ill. (August 20, 2025) – After winning the program's first National Championship in May, Northwestern University head women's golf coach Emily Fletcher has revealed her team's schedule for the 2025-26 season. Fletcher's squad will compete in eleven regular season events ahead of the postseason beginning in April.
The Wildcats begin their season competing at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, September 8-10, hosted in Lake Elmo, Minn. by LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam. Northwestern returns to action close to home at the prestigious Jackson T. Stephens Cup, September 15-17, competing at Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, Ill.
Following the Stephens Cup, the 'Cats will turn their attention to hosting the Windy City Collegiate Classic, September 29-30, at the Glen View Club in Golf, Ill. An event that consistently attracts one of the deepest fields in collegiate golf, this year's field is set to feature eight teams who qualified for the NCAA Championship Finals last season.
Northwestern opens the month of October out west, competing at the Stanford Intercollegiate, October 17-19, in Palo Alto, Calif., before concluding their fall season at the East Lake Cup, October 27-29, in Atlanta, Ga.
Following a practice trip to Florida over Martin Luther King Day weekend, January 17-19, the 'Cats open their spring slate in Puerto Rico, where they will feature as part of the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic, February 1-3. Northwestern returns to The Sunshine State two weeks later to take part in the Spartan Suncoast Invitational, February 15-16, in Sarasota, Fla.
The 'Cats continue their southern swing as the calendar turns to March, visiting Hilton Head, S.C. for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, March 2-4. Northwestern closes the month of March in Arizona, competing at the PING/ASU Invitational, March 23-25, in Phoenix. Dianna Lee secured her first collegiate victory at last year's edition of the event, finishing at 10-under par and leading the 'Cats to a runner-up finish in the team race.
After wrapping up the regular season at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational, April 17-18, in Columbus, Ohio, Northwestern raises the curtain on the postseason by jetting west to Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, Calif. for the Big Ten Championships, April 24-26.
NCAA Regionals are slated for May 11-13, while the NCAA Championship Finals will again be hosted at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., May 22-27.
Fletcher and assistant coach Beth Miller, the reigning WGCA National Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year, respectively, welcome back five letterwinners from last year's team, a quintet led by All-American Ashley Yun. In addition, Fletcher is set to bring in newcomers Lauren E. Lee and Arianna Lau, the latter of whom recently advanced to the quarterfinals of the 125th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.
