CHICAGO – The Northwestern men's basketball team has announced its latest non-conference opponent as it will meet Oklahoma State for the first time in program history at the United Center on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday Nov. 27. Tip time is to be announced.

The teams have also agreed to a future game in Oklahoma City during the 2026-27 season; future information will be announced at a later date.

Intersport, a Chicago-based sports marketing and events agency, will manage all aspects of the Northwestern-Oklahoma State contests.

The Wildcats are playing a regular season contest at the United Center for the first time since defeating Dayton 67-64 on Dec. 17, 2016.

Nick Martinelli, the Big Ten's leading scorer last season, returns to the team after averaging 20.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in 2024-25. The team also welcomes a group of first-years ranked as the No. 23 recruiting class in the nation by 247Sports. Head coach Chris Collins, entering his 13th season, signed a contract extension this offseason through 2030.

Northwestern's full schedule will be released at a later date. Fans can purchase season tickets for the 2025-26 season HERE.
