Northwestern Baseball Announces 2026 Big Ten Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern baseball released its 2026 Big Ten schedule on Wednesday. 

The Wildcats will play 30 conference games over 10 three-game series in 2026, the Big Ten's second year with a 30-game conference schedule.

Northwestern will open the Big Ten portion of its season at home when it hosts USC (March 13-15) for a three-game series. NU will travel west for series at Oregon (March 20-22) and Washington (March 27-29) before returning home for series against Michigan State (April 3-5) and Purdue (April 10-12).

The Wildcats will open the second half of league play on the road at Michigan (April 17-19) and Minnesota (April 24-26) before a home series against Indiana (May 1-3). The 'Cats will trek to Illinois (May 8-10) for their annual in-state rivalry series before closing out the regular season at home against Rutgers (May 14-16).

In 2025, Northwestern posted its highest regular season winning percentage since 2005, broke its single-season home run record, and posted its best Big Ten winning percentage since 2019.

Northwestern's 2026 non-conference schedule will be released at a later date.
