
Northwestern Men’s Basketball to Compete in 2025 Greenbrier Tip-Off

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. - Northwestern men's basketball has announced it will be participating in the 2025 Greenbrier Tip-Off, set for Nov. 21 and 23 at the iconic Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
The Wildcats, who will play two games in the event, are joined by Butler, South Carolina and Virginia in the event's Mountain Division, with matchups and game times to be announced at a later date. The event will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

Northwestern's 17 wins last season rank highest among all participating teams in the event. The 'Cats have only played in the Mountain State twice in program history, with the last matchup being against Marshall in the Marshall Tournament in Huntington, W.Va., on December 21, 1973.
The Greenbrier Tip-Off, which features eight teams participating in two divisions, is in its second year of existence. Wisconsin won the first Mountain Division championship last year in a field that also featured Pitt, LSU and UCF, while UTRGV claimed the River Division.
