Big Ten Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents for 2025-26

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference revealed its men's basketball conference matchups for the 2025-26 season on Tuesday.

Northwestern and its league counterparts will again play a 20-game schedule. Each school's conference slate includes three home-and-home opponents, while playing seven different opponents only once at home or on the road.

The Wildcats will battle Illinois, Minnesota and Nebraska both at home and on the road this upcoming season.

 
Northwestern will also host Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue and Washington inside Welsh-Ryan Arena, and travel to Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Rutgers, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin.

Game dates and times, TV assignments and non-conference opponents will be released at a later date.
