Northwestern Secures Spot in Big Ten Tournament, Plays Wednesday in Indianapolis

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Northwestern men's basketball team (16-15, 7-13 Big Ten) has secured a spot in the 2025 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament as the No. 13 seed, and will play No. 12 seed Minnesota (15-16, 7-13 Big Ten) at 2:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, March 12 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. Wednesday's tournament opening tilt can be seen on Peacock and heard on WGN Radio 720.
Under the direction of Sullivan-Ubben Head Coach Chris Collins, the Wildcats have won three of their last five games, despite playing without two of the team's top three leading scorers in Brooks Barnhizer (17.1 ppg) and Jalen Leach (14.3 ppg).
Fifteen of the league's 18 teams qualify for the tournament, which takes place from Wednesday, March 12, through Sunday, March 16.
