23 ‘Cats Tabbed USFCA All-Academic Selections

Northwestern also earns Team All-Academic Award
EVANSTON, Ill. (June 27, 2024) – 23 members of the Northwestern University fencing team have garnered United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) All-Academic distinction, it was announced by the organization on Wednesday. For the second time in as many seasons, Northwestern led all Central Collegiate Fencing Conference (CCFC) women's programs in overall selections, with 15 Wildcats also receiving Scholar of Distinction accolades.
Northwestern was also recognized as one of 20 women's programs to be tabbed an All-Academic Team by the USFCA. Reigning CCFC Coach of the Year Zach Moss' team posted a 3.43 cumulative grade-point average.
To qualify for USFCA All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must have achieved an in-season grade-point average of 3.3 of higher. Scholar of Distinction honors were awarded to student-athletes at member institutions who sported an in-season grade-point average of 3.7 or higher.
