Willie’s Winter Wonderland Scheduled for December 10th & December 17th

Northwestern University's Department of Athletics & Recreation invite all community members, basketball fans, and winter enthusiasts to the annual Willie's Winter Wonderland! This event will occur on December 10th in conjunction with Northwestern Men's Basketball's vs. Detroit Mercy and December 17th together with Northwestern Women's Basketball vs. Bradley.
For the December 17th date, Willie's Winter Wonderland will occur in the 3rd floor atrium of Welsh-Ryan Arena. There will be free hot chocolate and cookie decorating while supplies last as well as a winter village displaying decorated winter houses from local Evanston non-profits. Organizations include Family Focus, Books & Breakfast, McGaw YMCA, Fleetwood-Jourdain, Kuumba Evanston, and Y.O.U. There will also be a winter-themed giveaway while supplies last provided to children in attendance. There will also be opportunity to take your photo in front of Willie's Winter Wonderland backdrop!
For the December 10th game, Willie's winter activities will take place in the 3rd floor hospitality suite of Welsh-Ryan Arena. Activities will include free hot chocolate and cookie decorating while supplies last. Children in attendance will also have the opportunity to decorate a winter cottage for display at the December 17th game.
