EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern women's basketball team teamed up with Santa For A Day to fulfill the wish lists of disadvantaged children in the Chicagoland area.
Founded in 2018, Santa for a Day turns children's wishes into reality by collecting their lists, matching gift requests to supportive donors, and delivering the gifts to the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA).
Following the delivery, children receive their gifts at a holiday party hosted by the Chicago Housing Authority.
Over the weekend, Wildcats' student-athletes supported Santa For A Day's mission by organizing, alphabetizing and wrapping gifts. Over 100 gifts were wrapped to bring joy to children during the holiday season.
